  • BILL JONES AFWANI

    Afwani, co-founder of Himiza Narratives, produced '18Hours' which won Best Movie at the 2018 Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards. His directorial debut feature film 'Safari’ premiered at the 2022 CineKid Film Festival in Amsterdam, and is now streaming on Netflix. He recently directed 'Agonda' and 'Chinga' for M-Net Africa, available on Showmax. Afwani is a Durban Filmmart 2022 alumnus and mentors young filmmakers and thespians through the Kenya National Drama and Film Festival (KNDFF).

    Kirimi is a story developer and an unapologetic dreamer from Nairobi, Kenya. He is the co-founder of Nyota Art Gallery. He has worked in various capacities with Liverpool VCT, Kenya Social Ventures and Gaia's Garden. When he is not dabbling in writing or poetry, he works as a youth counselor in Germany.

    Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Blake spent seven years in East Africa building several businesses including a production studio in Nairobi, Kenya. More recently he has been living and working in Switzerland where he owns and operates Blaked Visuals and works as a Senior Producer for Yoveo AG.

    With over 8 years of experience in film and 6 years in script writing, Teddy is a master translator of ideas into scenes and dialogue. With screenplay credits from FilmAid, Premier Studios, and Project Studio Creations, Teddy has not only applied his craft, but also lectures in script writing at African Digital Media Institute.

    Manjari, a detail-oriented assistant director and project manager, contributed to standout films in Kenya, including the 'Mali Ya Mungu' series pilot and 'Kileo' movie funded by the Kenya Film Commission. As a Script Supervisor for M-net Africa's 'Agonda' and 'Jasiri' on Showmax, her commitment to perfection shines through. A Maseno University graduate, Manjari excels in people skills, fostering harmonious collaboration crucial for a film's success.
